Christoph is moving for a cure (Angelman syndrome)

Story

I'm taking part in Move for a Cure 2023 in support of FAST Australia.
Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics

I'll be logging my steps and KM's walked, post my fitness shots and keep you updated on this page.

Donations are welcomed and made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to the charity organisation. Instead of donation you can also join Move for a Cure - Crossing the country for Angelman syndrome.

About Angelman syndrome

Angelman Syndrome is a rare genetic disorder, a whim of nature, characterised by severe developmental delay, learning disabilities, absence of speech, seizures and sleep disorders.

About City to Surf

City2Surf (or City to Surf) is a popular road running event held annually in Sydney covering a 14-kilometre (8.7 mi) course. The event is a "fun run" as well as a race, attracting both competitive runners and community participants who can choose to run or to walk. The event attracts more than 80,000 entrants who start in staggered groups based on previous running times and early entry.

About Move for a Cure

Starting on International Angelman Day, February 15, for thirty days, we invite you to join us to Move for a Cure. We want you to cross the country for Angelman syndrome. If you can log it on Strava, you can join; run, walk, hike, ride, swim or wheel (chair) as we collectively move across Australia from Perth in the south-west to Cairns in the far-north.Starting on International Angelman Day, February 15, for thirty days, I am joining other supporters and those with loved ones impacted by Angelman syndrome to cross the country, raising awareness as we go. Collectively we will log km's running, walking, hiking, riding or swimming as we move around Australia.
